A bit late... but better late than never... We have had a tough time recovering from the holidays. Food hangovers, sleep deprivation, piles of paperwork.... yikes! Now comes tax season, here we go!
Not only was Dec 31st New Years Eve, but it was a blue moon, which I finally learned means that it was the 2nd full moon in the same month, which happens only once every 27 years. Ya learn something new every day, eh? I never stopped to think about what a blue moon was, although I have often used the expression "Once in a blue moon." It got us thinking about the funny things we say and I have to ask, does anyone know where the expression "It doesn't hold a candle to..." came from?
Here we are at midnight. Yes, we all stayed up. Kaeleb was quite determined, even though he started asking "Is it midnight yet?" repeatedly, because he was getting tired.
Brenny on the other hand, has no qualms about staying up until midnight, or any other hour, for that matter.
