Fabulous friends

This is ridiculous of me... I have a bunch of pictures my dear friend Amy took and has been emailing them to me... so that I could let them sit in my email for several months.  Here they are now, completely random in the timeline of our lives, but special to me nonetheless.  Our families have unofficially adopted each other (well, they can't get rid of me, I'm too attached, whether they like it or not) so the Starks have appeared throughout our blog once in awhile, but here are more.  Above and below you are looking at us hiking last September (2012) and I can't even remember where we were.

Next up, Dec 31st 2012.  This was our New Year's Eve Party with the Sprays and the Starks.  We had a lot of delirious fun, and yes, we let the kids stay up.   We played slap scrabble and ate strawberry cream pie...mmmm... Amy is good with desserts... Wonderful friends!  We so love our friends!!

And, here we are in June, at the cabin.  Above we have Ashton, Brennan, and Dylan.  I love this picture- this illusion of sweet perfection you see.  Totally fabricated.  They are bananas together!!!!
Addy, oh Addy!  I love Addy!  Everybody loves Addy!  Especially me.

This is Addy saying "Mom, u-up!"  Look at her face!  She called me mom for a few weeks, Amy is "Mama" of course.  But mostly "Na-na" or Gi-na".  I love to spoil her.  We decided I get to be her Godmother even though we are not Catholic.  There will be an official ceremony in Pig Latin, since we don't speak Latin.

June 2013 Baseball Season!

Brennan plays T-ball for the Heber Cardinals this season.  He is #4, seen above waiting for his turn at bat while cheering on the batter.
Here he is up to the plate...
And, this is my favorite-- He was the 1st baseman.  He did a great job of it, but decided to take a little break for awhile when the action went to the outfield.

Kaeleb plays for the Giants and loves it!!
He got to play short stop a couple times in the 1st game.  He is one great kid!
And, just for fun, this is picture of Kaeleb and his friend Landon playing soccer to earn a brag tag in Heber City's summer "Unplugged" program.  Here is the evidence.  Don't mind the construction zone across the street.  I am sooo ready for all these lots to be built on and lived in!

May 2013 Memorial Day

We spent Memorial Weekend at the cabin enjoying nature... except for the mice.

Kwint has been loving the trees, and especially the glow of the leaves in the sun...
Dave and Staci Chavez joined us Monday with their awesome kids and a crazy, scary skeleton.  But it was nothing the kids weren't equipped to handle.

May 2013

This is all I got for May.  It was a crazy busy month of recitals, (this is Kaeleb waiting his turn to play the piano) arts night, moms & muffins, dads & donuts, grandparents day, 3 field trips, field day, a weekend in St. George (pics on Kwint's phone) and of course......
                                                PRESCHOOL GRADUATION

And the last day of school party at the park!!! (No pictures)

April 2013 Soccer season

Brennan had a blast playing Spring soccer.  April in Heber feels a lot like February in most other places, hence the hat.  He's #81 in black (the hat) and 18 when he was yellow, further down.  Ryan Starks was his coach and Ashton and Dylan were teammates.  They are what we call "brother friends".

Kaeleb was the official scorekeeper and rocked the team colors.

Easter 2013

 Easter morning fun!!

We had the Stark's and My mom and Gary for a special Easter dinner-- I crock potted a whole chicken and it turned out great, I was pleasantly surprised. :)
Amy read about a fun, easy way to dye eggs using shaving cream and food coloring... and you can guess how turned out... pretty messy!!  Maybe not so easy, but definitely fun. For the kids.

We made a toasty fire and listened to Daddy play some tunes around it.  It was a Happy Easter!

March 2013

Brennan and I made St. Patrick's Day Cookies-- yes, they are pink. But some were green.
And that sneaky Lucky Leprechaun found his way to our house and left the boys a Lucky breakfast and their current favorite toys, mini Halo figurines- and No, they have never played the video game and never will.

Brennan's friend Peyton had a birthday party and they all got their faces painted.  He is Venom. Haha!  Kaeleb helped Peyton's mom with crowd control so he got painted too.
The neighborhood kids had a dance party on the Grant's deck-- it was awesome!  Their favorite song is "Party Rock". We love this neighborhood and the camaraderie they share.

This is Brennan and Mama on a date to Dairy Keen
