Playing catch up!

 Welcome to life at our house.  It has been busy as usual around here, so this is a catch up post from the end of the summer to today.  (Bren's birthday today!!)

First off, it has been an incredibly wet late summer.

Kaeleb's Birthday

 Air Soft BB guns are all the rage in our neighborhood this year. 

Kaeleb was beyond excited to get this rifle.

 August 13th and 14th

Grandpa's Lego Camp-

The highlight of the kids summer! These are a few things they brought home:

handmade leather holsters for their new pocket knives and flashlights, arrowheads, pirate dubloons, and Lego ships built by Grandpa over the years.  WOW!

Kaeleb's birthday party at the cabin

Kaeleb and his friends had air soft battles outside while the girls did crafts inside.

 And suddenly, it was the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

Brennan on the way to 1st grade

 Kaeleb goes to a new school for 5th grade, Timpanogos Intermediate School

 A week into school Brennan was "King for the Day"

 Because of all the rain the leaves began changing so we have done a lot of hiking... and of course, we couldn't leave the bb guns behind...

 During Swiss Days Kwint and the boys were in a parade with the karate dojo.  Ryan and his boys were also in the parade for his job, so Amy and Addy watched the parade with me and GnG.  She cried every time a float didn't throw candy to her. :)

 Later that day we went to the cabin to play with Dave, Tam, the girls, and their friends

 On Labor Day, Sept 1st we took GnG to Cascade Springs

 I bumped into Brennan, who bumped into Kaeleb, who was standing on the edge... 

And he fell in.  Poor wet, muddy guy!

 September 12th

Pancakes and Presents for Brennan!

He got to celebrate at school and we had his family party scheduled for that night, so we let him have pancakes and presents two days early.

 It's a good thing we had our fun when we did!  Right after the cupcakes at school Brennan tripped on a chair in his classroom and hit his head on a desk, splitting his eyebrow.  We spent the afternoon in the ER getting 5 new stitches to add to his collection. 

 He was super brave!

 And we partied on anyway!!

  These, along with an air soft rifle from us and an air soft pistol from Uncle Kris and Aunt Barbi are his favorite presents.
